raw/dry rock mix using some awesome gear (jcm800,big muff,ts808,jagstang,lespaul)

A Dying Breed

A Dying Breed Drums Up

this is only a first mix, so theres plenty I want to work on. would still like to share and get some feedback.

rhythm guitars were mostly a les paul, big muff, 4 input jcm800, mesa cab but there is also some stuff on a fender jag stang with a JB in the bridge layered in on some bits. solo was a prs. bass was a fender jazz.

drums were some yamaha kit, skins werent the newest, but still only some slight samples blended in on the kick and snare (less than 30% i reckon).

kind of went for a QOTSA kind of thing, but kind of with my own spin....

Not my style of music but the balance seems pretty good, guitars are maybe a bit overbearing at times? I wouldn't mind hearing the bass more. The drums have a really nice old school kind of sound and the vocals are sitting great.

I realy enjoyed hearing the mix , sounds big and natural indeed ... and has a great vibe (specially because of the guitars and the "distant" snare)

gj !

God... i love it... the whole thing... the mix and the song!! i would leave it at that... it's just a matter of taste now IMO...
