We showed up to Brian's studio at 11:00am. We began unloading Ian's
monster of a drum kit into Brian's basement. We got everything set up and
ready by 3:00pm.
The first song we tackled was 'Division of Past'. Got the base track
recorded. Ian then recorded the drums. Bill recorded the bass. At this
point, I did the clean guitars only. Then, I did the distortion. Only
things we have to do for it now are the volume swells, acoustic guitar
overdub, and vocals. Should be done at the next session.
The second song we tackled was 'A Painting of Winter's Darkness'. This
was the most difficult thing to do all day. We got the base track down.
Ian then attempted to do the drums. After about an hour and a half, he
had it down. It was Bill's turn next. Then, it was my turn. We only
need vocals on this baby now. This song will never... ever... sound better
than it is right now.

On Wednesday, July 21, we will enter the studio once again. Only, this
time at 8:30am. We will go until midnight like we did today.
Our goals for Wednesday:
-Finish 'Division of Past'
-Finish and complete 'Frozen Reflections'
-Record all vocals
-Begin mixing and mastering
Our goals for Thursday:
-Finish mixing and mastering
-Get the final copy of the EP

Then, we await S P I N A's finished artwork, then we ship it all off to
Disk Makers... we then wait for a week!
