how can i convert audio to midi with multiple velocities based on how loud the audio signal is?

Use dynamic split with the option "convert items to midi" (or sth like that) and then glue the audio.
Each midi is a diferent note, so you have to select all items and set them to the corresponding midi note you want to use

This works really well, pretty sure AdamWathan made a video showing how to do this; it should be on youtube somewhere.

+1

I have never gotten it to work nearly perfect though. There's always transients that just arent detected and extra splits/extra midi notes are added. But it's so easy to just go in and edit the midi after.

I may have to try the ReaGate method.
