looks alright, but i wouldnt want to stretch the transients of drum hits, ideally you'd slice during the decay and stretch that.

that said, i just prefer the old move and crossfade method.

.....and im not even using reaper

I think there are a lot of things Reaper is still missing, and I hope they include them soon, I'd love to become a Reaper user the beat detective is a great idea

I can pretty much Beat Detective in Reaper already... Beat Detective is 3 distinct separate actions that you still run independently in PT, you can do all of them in Reaper already, they just aren't all in one window.

True, but in Beat Detective there's a slider which allows you to specify the percentage of the quantization so it's not always 100%.

I've been getting by on 60-80 on the current project. Definitely only want 100 for the insane tech bands...

Good thread. I would sign it, but need to register and be a member/user of Reaper. It would be a good feature for you guys though.

Let's hope something similar comes for Studio One.
