recent acquisitions

To be honest, I haven't listened to it yet.

I expect I'll like it when I finally get around to it though. I must admit though, I was very impressed with the packaging. I've rarely seen such a deluxe presentation.

Yeah, it's very well presented. The whole "book" idea is very nice, as are the liner notes. It's quite the complete package, it is very representative of their whole career and spans a great amount of time/material.

Recent Arrivals:

Bergthron - Verborgen in den Tiefen der Wälder
Death In June - The Guilty Have No Pride
Der Blutharsch - When Did Wonderland End?
Waldteufel - Rauhnacht

lol, not that much. You'll soon realize you only see the surface of the entire metal community (and that a lot of the bands you listen aren't that good)

what? im underground! well, probably more like the basement level of a house instead of actually under the earth. like if the first floor of my house is mainstream underground metal, bands like nevermore, opeth, dark tranquility, etc, then yea im definitely in the basement. but i do like arsis and windir and quo vadis, and theyre probably a few feet below the foundation of a house. so yea, im underground.

but i havent heard of any of those bands he listed, unfortunately.

how about Primordial, Bolt Thrower, Destroyer 666, Akercocke, Falkenbach, Ram-Zet, Summoning?

Those are fairly underground, more than Arsis, Quo Vadis and co.

Well, Quo Vadis here is pretty big cause they're coming from here, but they might be considered really underground elsewhere.

ive heard of all those bands you mentioned, and heard most of them. theyre not as deep in the underground scene IMO as bands he mentioned.

quo vadis, i have a feeling, have a tiny, tiny, fanbase outside of quebec...
