Recently learned songs

more for keeping a record of my riffs so I can figure them out again, should I forget them. I don't use it for learning songs much.

I use Guitar Pro 5 to write down my songs and also learn other peoples stuff. I used to use power tab before that. There were really good tabs on powertab.

This topic would be really useful to a new guitarist like me....... but I suck too much :p. The most complicated thing I can play is Seek and Destroy

Perseverence mate. I taught myself Machine Head's "Imperium" note for note perfect within two months of picking up a guitar, its just a matter of dedication.

Anyhow, I learnt the almighty Darkness Shall Bring Death recently. Its spiffing. No solos though, no no no no no.

Im gonna try to learn some leads from Eric Johnson´s Cliffs of Dover. Just to get out of the metal thinking a little.

Dave, maybe you should make a cover of a Green Day song and post it on youtube, I think that would get you out of that "metal" thinking. Or maybe it would just be your worst nightmare.:yow::devil:

Maybe I would go to Spain and shove Green Day up your ass  Fuck getting out of metal thinking. Metal owns.

hhahahahaha, I hadnt seen this. You know your getting the new green day album on your bday :rofl:DDDDDD

Anyway, tryin to learn challenging solos:

Megadeth - Architecture of Aggression

I can play it at 50% speed, at full its like how the fuck can he do that but its all just practice.

I started trying to learn laserdrome, I figured out the beginning. Im writing it on GP5 hehehe.

So since Im tabbing Laserdrome, Im gonna do a video hehehehe. I just have this one riff I cant figure out plus the tapping bit at the beginning with the cymbal crashes.
