Going to kick this off with something that not everyone will love, but this is the sort of band that you should definitely check out if you enjoy Colour Haze. I am specifically focusing on their latest album, which is a lot better than the debut. If you enjoy these songs, you should listen to their previous work as well. Really heavy stoner/doom that does not get stuck in the mud. Pretty straight forward and rockin'. I have been worn out on this whole scene in general but this album makes it seem fresh again.

pretty awesome stuff ... typically avoid this genre but this kicks ass probably because

this does not get stuck in the mud.

also it reminds me of early Soundgarden a bit (with Perry Ferrell on vox)

This is really fucking awesome. A bit derivative at times, but I fucking enjoy the progression that they use. I've been spinning this almost all night.
