Record vocal and screams...u have any advice?

Hi guys...Tomorrow for the first time i'll record vocals and screams for my band...
i'm going to try the "Sturgis" method..open a new project, put the mastered track...then open a few stereo track and put effects then open a one stero track for the vocal to record then edit by hand....but i don't have any idea of what effects i have to use,and in which order...
Help me guys

phaser
decimation (bit reduction)
flanger/chorus
reverb/resonator fx
envelope followers/ filters
distortion/saturation/biasing fx

...et cetera

what order you put these processors in is what determines the creativity.

And for example...do i have to compress all vocals?? and for the double tracking in the scream...do i have to do it always??

Compress? 99% of the time, yes. There is that 1% when you don't have to do that, but you are not one of those cases.
