Recording a 5150 power section with a countryman

How do?

I've heard about recording the pre-amp out but I've also heard ermz speak of recording the power section using the countryman,

Without a cab load would that not blow it up?

You attach the load to the parallel output on the DI box.

Does it need to be plugged into the cab still ermz?

And parallel output on the countryman?

Ahhhh right so I'd need a hot plate etc?

Hotplate or a cab... or a stove top... anything that can function as a load.
