Basically I'm having trouble recording this tritone riff. It's right around :06. No matter how I try and palm mute it, the string higher always seems to ring out much more prominently.

I guess an example of how I think it should sound is something around 1:20 in this clip.

I actually have a 27" scale 7 string with an Aftermath pickup in it too so I know it should sound pretty similar just the guitar tone wise.

Any tips?

Possibly adjust pole peices. Is it any note on that string that is always louder? Or just that one note?

Kyle, your problem is that you're trying to record a tritone riff :loco: Instead, try some nice root-fifth power chords with twin guitar harmony leads over top! :D
