Recording at machine shop

Cut solos on the second last day. Überschall ftmfw. Finished off the remaining Vox by lunch time yesterday. Proceeded to drink copious amounts of whiskey. Coming home soon and letting will do his thing. Gonna be so retardedly heavy.

Knowing your parts and being able to play them! Something too many people forget is an important part of being a musician.

Well done dude, 10 days is very impressive!

yes!
if every member knows exactly what they're supposed to be doing, and has confidence in their playing. shit should be easy, but this rarely happens.

i think they just came off a big tour, so they should be tight as fuck too.

Haha no not 10, did I say that? Album was tracked over about 20 days. We were doing 14hr days most days. We did 2 days of prepro with will just working on arrangements, chopping riffs and moving parts etc. Drums were cut over three days, from then on we worked on guitars, bass and vox everyday. Usually a bit of guitar/bass, then cut a song worth of Vox then do up the rap track patterning the vocals for the song to be done the next day. We were pretty pushed for time and therefore didn't do any 'studio updates'. We did a troll one for the fans. I don't think they got it. Sorry, I am so hungover right now :(

not to derail the thread but we tracked the upcoming I AM REVENGE full length in 7 days (more like 6 days and one day hangover and cleaning)

Every song was pre-pro´d before the session started.
I played most of the guitars and half the bass takes.

Our singer needed 3h´s for 10,5 tracks of vocals.

If you are well prepared its easy to do it (wih 10h a day, not 18 ;)

So stoked for the album. Cant wait to hear how thy art sound under Putneys influence.

BUT PLEASE dont let Putney master your album that loud. Structures is ruined for me because of the mastering
