Okay, some things I gotta warn you about. For one, I am drunk so in certain places, you will notice the timing off a little. Second, it's been a while since I have actually played this (the rythym and the lead are written by me) so at about the 4:55 mark to around the 6:12 mark, is all improvised. I don't remember the solo or the rythym behind the solo. I think I might rewrite the rythym, re-record and improvise the solo with the new rythym. Later on I'll probably rewrite the solo. This song, believe it or not, got me and my band (former) a record deal that we turned down for reasons. Keep in mind though, this is a drunken recording and there is no drums or bass. After I re-record it after I figured everything out, I will add drums and bass (maybe, not really needed) to it to give the full affect. I will repost it when that is complete. Also, I will post some shit as I record it, for you beotches to hear. Well, here it is, the drunken version of Paradox. If you have any suggestions, feel free to make them.

The song is about 8 minutes long.

If you have any trouble, try Right-Clicking and saving as is.

Another update:

I'm more intoxicated, but for some reason, there is less screwups. The song is about 13:53 long and is about 13 megs. There is still a little (not too much) improvision (pretty much the part as before) because I am too drunk to write something. And if I to write something, I'll forget. The download is at the same URL.

OK, yet again another update. Still a little bit of improvision (like during the mid-solo) but I wrote a new part. I am personally proud of how the new part turned out. The song is sized down a little. it's about 11:41 in length. I was sober when I recorded this, but the timing is a little off still. Also, my sustain pedal is being a little bitch even after I got new batteries for it. Oh well, the somewhat improved Paradox.

Also, I'd just like to say it's a pain in the ass keeping the timing perfect without any percussion. Also, I'll add some drums and shit to this version soon. Then, I'll try re-recording using the drum track as a base for the timing. That will be later on, when I'm up to it.

My opinion: Yeah. I've got your paradox mp3.
I think Death influences are ruling this "song" and/or Chuck. Maybe you were used a metal zone+flanger and your Jackson, i think. Yeah you need some drum tracks. Anyway ask Janne. He knows, because he used some mechanized drums on his latest album.

My fav. band seeking for a guitarist. Wanna join?

Yeah, I am using my Jackson. I am also using my RP7. I can't really pick out any influences because I just pretty much wrote the song straight from inside. I need to rerecord it and add drums though.

HOLY SHIT! Something I just noticed. On the song Satellites and Astronauts from In Flames, I noticed in like, 2/3 through the song, there is a little ripping off of Yngwie's Far Beyond the Sun.

hey,

well i really liked the recording,

some parts are a bit repetative, but there really are alot of good ideas in there.

Is there an influence of monstrosity in there? I thought i heard some in there, both solo and rythym.

would love to hear more recordings, where can the be found????

Like I had mentioned above, I don't know where the ideas came from or if it was influenced in any way. I can rest assure that there is no influence of Monstrosity though, for I have never listened to them. It just came to me. Keep in mind, that the mid solo is all improvised, I can't remember the written solo. A song has to be a little repetitious I have found. Not much, but a little. I like my songs long. You can find more recordings when I record them, hehe.
