Recording Pod by micing home stereo speakers

Anyone tried it? I played around with it last night and it actually sounded pretty good as I was able to capture the speaker movement. I had to crank the highs b/c I had only miked the woofer.

Next time (if there is one) I'll try two mics and hope I don't get a phasing issue.

Record an A/B between the D/I and the new sound once youve tried two mics.
It might even be worth using the D/I sound and using the lows from the mic'ed recording.
