Recording W/ Two Heads... Help please.

I was wondering if someone can help me.
Is there much difference between recording with one head and with two blendid through 1 or two cabs?! And if so how do i go about hooking them up?
And whats the best way to get the best sound....

Any help would be greatly aprechiated!

I use a Peavey XXX by the way, and was thinking of running two of them. If thats any help.

Usually when people use more than one amp it's because they want to get the character of the two amps mixed. That means that they use two different amps.
Using the one amp for a bigger sound can be done. You just track all your parts four times instead of two.
I don't really see how using two XXX's will sound any better, or different in any way.
