Hey guys, I brought out my old Triple Rectifier and was trying to get some sick tones out of it, only the damn radio was coming through loud and clear! I was using all Monster Cables (SP1000 insturment/speaker and a Powerline 300 plugged into a MP PRO2500). I had a Schecter Hellraiser plugged in w/ a 808 in front too.

What am I missing, I've had worse gear than this plugged up to it when I was younger and a whole lot less recto-radio coming through???

I think that's a well known problem!
Try cables with a different length or different cables at all (maybe the shielding is bad)!

Check the shielding on your cables. I've picked up the radio with my Hellraiser one or two odd times. I have absolutely no idea why. Nothing about my rig changed, but lo and behold it happened anyway.

I'd say the chief suspect would be the 808, I have a TS9DX that can pick up Russian/East European broadcasts better than any radio (only on Turbo mode). You might even find moving the gear slightly or to another room makes it go away - right gear in the wrong place/wrong gear in the right place (whichever way you look at it).

I also used to have a George Dennis Wah pedal that had the ability to pick up the police channel, but only in one corner of one of the places we used to rehearse, and only when the strip-lights were on - anywhere else, not a peep :goggly:

I've had this problem when using a POD XT Live (just for FX) through the FX loop of a Dual Rectifier 3 channel, with a TS9DX in the front end, using a Jackson Soloist with active Reflex pickups at low volume in the bed room.

I would say my problem was definetly bad leads conecting the POD to the FX loop.
