Well, this is my first upload here.

I was trying to get a guitar tone similar to dimebag’s in Reinventing the Steel, but aiming for a more modern vibe.

Huge progress, check it out. After comparing both, the new one may lack lows, but it's much more similar to dime's tone now.

Don’t expect it to be very close: I used a Gibson Les Paul with EMGs 85/60 and Revalver MK3.

Feel free to comment

Well, the "magic" comes from different plugins (boogex, curveq, a flanger/doubler emulator, etc.), so when I nail the sound, I'll post all the presets : )

Nope, the flanger/doubler fx is in both. By the way, the flanger/doubler used by Darrell had mono output, as contrary to belief, so it’s coherent to pan them 100% L/R.

The guitars sounds really good! not a surprise, Revalver is an amazing piece of software!
Your drums sounds good too, what software did you use to compose the tracks?
