But I didn't see Islam in your comments.

hm.. take the crusades for some christian fantaticism, but in todays situation you are mostly right, and I didn't include islam because I don't know a lot about it.

having been raised here in germany gave me some insights on catholic christianity, I had a burning interest in the ocult in my youth, which lead to my reading lavey, I know a bunch of wiccan who introduced me to paganism.

I also saw a sect in creation and it was one of most terrible things I ever saw.

anyway, I kinda like the big majestic architacture of christian (catholic) churches, they are often works of art.

about buddhism : that's an interesting point of view, but basically it teaches humility, like jesus did; desire creates suffering, theredore to desire nothing is to be free from suffering, that's the core message.

that's a godless image of "the ghost" imho.

Narrot :
nope, they are!

regarding the "what was before" discussion :

I believe that whatever is just is. it changes, from shape to shape, from state to state, in relation to everything else that is, but basically it just is.
one could say that it has always been and will always be, but then again this requires time, and time is matter of perception and change, and if it would not change, nor be percieved, it would still be.

so there is no "before" just like there is no "thereafter".

about energy :

I understand that energy too is merely information

do you consider everyone as a good person in principle??

I consider everyone a person, my morals are not universal truths. but when you choose this as a frame of reference good or evil become meaningless, we are all equal in the eyes of the universe.

within the confines of my own morals (which are largely those ideals set forth in the general declaration of human rights) I do consider some people evil and some good, I consider e.g George Dubbya an evil person.

simply put : no.

you could also say that George Dubbya is a good person in principle but wrong leaded...that's what i wanted to know...

I would not say that, either he is, or he is not. whatever made him into what he is does not absolve him of responsibillity for his actions.

likewise, I do not care about reasons, a murderer is a murderer, wether he killed out of vengeance, because he was emotionally hurt or out of pure bloodlust is of no concern to me. despite everything that influences us, we are responsible for our actions, and inaction.

the reason for this concept is : if we start to hand over the responsibillity onto that which influences us, we are no longer entities.

Fascinating how ppl try to manage this religion stuff ... to be honest: I give a shit on religion!! (though i was raised catholic)
however: imo all ppl are responsible for their actions ... i simply hate these religious fanatics that do these and that for good of their "GOD" .. often including cruelties and murder! They are responsible! not fate, not god, not politics or however!!
I have just one prolbem: I wheep over these poor children-terrorists that get abused by fanatics (today these are the fanatic islamists) that show them an "honest" way out of their miserable lifes ... these are the times when I begin to hate such assholes!
How can these children select their fate? they cant! when u´ve been told what is good and what is bad and never have the chance to experience on thy own then how should u be able too??

however, I´m offtopic again ...
But I´ve learned, that especially the old and the poor "need" their "God" to belive in .. it helps them to manage their poor lifes ... (and not rebel against it)

RELIGION = WEAPON!
used by: the rich and powerfull
aimed against: the poor masses
goal: gain more wealth on the expense of the poor
