black sheep had another good album, plus dres is always still guest appearing on albums (like showbiz and ag and stuff dude)
they are way better than third base. also, i still think wolf in sheep's clothing is an amazing thing.

I used to really like the digable planets. i think blowout comb was just like, so contraindicative of their first mellow album (being so militant) that it confused everyone.

dope, the thing is, hip-hop's not bad, it's just that the radio and club culture that fuels it is so fucked up the stuff that gets popular tends to be awful, even moreso than popular modern rock and stuff. but not always. the roots are like "art" hip-hop, like seriously conscious of greater things than bling-bling.
