Request for another "sticky" software list

Matthias King

The Machine
I think it's about time for a stickied list of 64bit plugins. Many of us have either already moved over into a 64bit OS and possibly using a 64bit DAW, and I suspect many others are considering it, or in the process of doing it, or soon will be.

I fall into the latter category, as I will be moving over into Windows 7 64bit as soon as I'm able. I'm using Vegas Pro 9 which is a 64bit DAW. I'm trying to find out what plugins have 64bit versions, which ones don't, which ones are under development now, etc...

And I'm not concerned about "oh you can use 32bit plugins in a 64bit DAW" stuff.

I request a sticky so we can start making a list for everyone's reference, because I doubt that I'm the only one wondering about this.

I got info from IK Multimedia that most or all of their VST's and VSTi's will work as 32bit inside a 64bit host, but no word on when they'll be true 64bit.

I got direct word from Sony that the Oxford plugins are currently being updated to VST3 and 64bit, but no concrete word on when they'll be ready.

A few Voxengo plugs appear to be 64bit:
Voxformer
Crunchessor
TransGainer
LF Max Punch
Varisaturator
Stereo Touch
Tube Amp
GlissEQ
Overtone GEQ
Beeper
Latency Delay
MSED
Sound Delay
Elephant
PolySquasher
PHA-979

SIR2 is 64bit, SIR is not

Everyone feel free to chime in with info
