Requests for VII?

this is a rough draft of my list:

this is based on the possible format change, and it is slightly realistic unlike some.

Friday:
Pyramaze
Savage Circus
Cynic (re-union)
Masterplan
Evergrey

Saturday:
Beyond Twilight
Tarot
Mercenary
Tad Morose
A BAND I DON'T LIKE...I am always too tired for the last band.

there is 1 problem with this line-up though, not enough prog. Although if you look at this years there were only 2 prog bands, I consider Conception a little middle of the road as far as genre classification goes. As for power in this year's line-up there were only 3...mostly cross-over stuff if Glenn doesn't want to have many repeats.

Hmm, and saving a little bit of airfare to boot with some 'band-sharing'....

Pre-Party:
Division
Dark Quarterer
Redemption
Orphaned Land

Night 1:
Wolf
The Lord Weird Slough Feg
John Arch
Manilla Road
Evergrey

Night 2:
Widow
Hammers of Misfortune
Eidolon
Fates Warning
Running Wild

I would really like to see TOC. Aaahhh... Oh, well... Nevermind... As I was adding the link I discovered an announcement on the site that they've called it quits... :( Reunion show in a couple of years? :D

Persuader won't be hard to persuade. I did an email interview with Emil Norberg a few weeks ago and he said all it takes is plane tix and beer. ;) Savage Circus may be a bit trickier, though.

Freedom Call would be nice.

Somebody said Stream of Passion. Since Lucassen is running that as a real band, it may be possible. Album out today!

And a return of Devin Townsend would be most welcome. Especially since DTB has an album coming soon.

Evergrey
Pagan's Mind
Astral Doors
Labyrinth
Watchtower
Marshall Law
Elegy (reunion)
Twilightning
Firewind
Sinergy

Old School/Never Gonna Happen/Would Be Nice:

Vicious Rumors
Accept
Crimson Glory
Saxon
Bruce Dickinson
Fates Warning
Leatherwolf
Racer X
Armored Saint
Riot
Halford
Talisman

Pre-Party:

Wolf
Overlorde
Seventh Wonder
Black Majesty

Hey, I'm not asking for much :headbang:

I didn't even think about Stream of Passion that seems like a legititamate band would get.

Well, the sad thing about Aquaria is that their vocalist and guitarist have been officially kicked out of the band... so you may wanna make up your mind =\

Hell yeah, great ideas.

Get Stream of Passion and James LaBrie solo. Invite Russell Allen and Damien Wilson as 'special guests'. Then we can get a little Ayreon action during the SoP set ;). Booyah.
