Rescue Me - Greatest TV show ever...

I found last season to be pretty damn mediocre, especially with the three-way love triangle. With that being said, I just caught the latest ep minutes after my previous post. Holy Heeb, this show was in top form, what a wallop of an ending.

The show is definitely not what it once was, but it's still better than 99% of what's on T.V. As Jerry said, the last episode was excellent, so hopefully it's ready to go on a nice run again.

There are actually a nice handful of truly excellent T.V. shows...

Sons of Anarchy
Rescue Me
Dexter
Justified
Weeds
True Blood
Lie to Me

I totally lost interest in True Blood this season, didn't even watch the last 2 episodes.
I think it has to do with all the "werewolf" stuff ... it's now turning into the type of vampire film/show that I don't like.

+Breaking Bad and Mad Men

But without the +
Not one of those other shows appeals to me save "Justified". I watched a few episodes before it dawned on me that it was really silly. I felt like I was watching "ChiPS" or the "A-Team"

I cant really love Weeds, I hate the mom so much she's such a shitty character..True Blood is pretty mediocre I think. Anyone watch Hung? I like that show a lot.

For what it's worth, I was just about to completely give up on True Blood until last night's episode. It was back to Season 1 quality.

Justified was very uneven throughout the better part of the season, but really came together quite nicely towards the end. I'm interested to see if they can carry that momentum into Season 2.

It's odd, I tend to go for women with big curves, but I'm totally in love with the Mary-Louise Parker's character on that show. Plus, last season was a return to form.

I'm surprised there's not more love for Dexter; great writing, great acting, incredibly dark storyline.

This season was still far too relationship based, it felt like I was watching Melrose Place at times. With that being said it really picked back up in the finale with Damien's accident. One season to go, I predict they're going to go all out with this one, no filler eps.
