Whew! I gave our restaurant album a makeover today and updated quite a few details. There are 50+ eateries within 3 miles or less of the venue. Many of them are open as late as 3am. The list also includes grocery & package stores. Click here.

There's also a new italian place where the Wolfgang Puck's used to be. Looks like a fairly fast trip.

This list will be highly useful for any new attendees!!! And for those of us that want to try some new stuff but have no idea where stuff is - thanks Jen!!!

Today, I updated the attractions album, too. There are home Braves' games and the Broadway musical Wicked is playing at The Fox Theatre the week of the fest. I also added Lenox Square Mall, as I've noticed a lot of the bands have chosen to go there in the past. MARTA stops right at this very large mall.

Also, I don't think that a lot of folks know about Atlantic Station. It's a new, trendy community located approx. 1.5 miles behind the venue with a ton of shops and restaurants located across the 17th Street Bridge (crosses over the interstate). There's also a Target, IKea, and Cinema. Click here for a map.

What's great is that Atlantic Station offers a free shuttle from the MARTA Arts Center Station near The Artmore. The bus departs the Arts Center MARTA station every 15-30 minutes.

FREE RIDE Hours of Operation
Mon-Fri 5:00 am – 1:00am
Sat-Sun 5:00 am – 1:00am

I hope this helps someone! :)

I can't believe people have enough energy to do anything other than eat and go to the shows. I know I'm always flagged on that Saturday morning/afternoon. I would say this is evidence of the quality of shows we get.

Eatery list is awesome. Thanks for time you put into it.

Atlantic Station is also the best for people watching - sit out on the patio of one of the restaurants and watch the parade of humanity ;)

Club Market & Cafe (directly next door to The Artmore)
1280 W Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30309

Mini convenience store at the base of a high-rise apartment building. Beer, wine, cigarettes, Advil, etc. The entry to the building is brass, and there's usually a folded sign on the sidewalk. If you come out of The Artmore, it's directly on your right.

Did you know they also serve bar food?
! I snagged this menu last year from the check-out counter. This may very well be a good option for those wanting to grab a quick bite in between sets. You can call your order in for carry-out.

This family-owned shop is at the base of an apartment building so it's not unusual that the woman working the counter seems to know by name all the apartment residents who stop by. What may seem a little strange is that it seems common for said residents to stop by in their PJs and slippers to pick up their takeout orders. The cafe offers Asian and American items, and the market part offers essentials such as panty hose and razors as well as a small supply of groceries.
