make sure the cds you buy dont fund the payola system or the lawsuits against families by the majors. so check if your records are RIAA-free on www.riaaradar.com.

safe :
anathema - serenades
anathema - alternative 4 (digipak)
anathema - pentecost III
anathema - the crestfallen EP/pentecost III
anathema - alternative 4
anathema - eternity (digipak)
anathema - the silent enigma
antimatter - saviour
antimatter - lights out

corrupted:
anathema - a fine day to exit
anathema - judgement
anathema - a natural disaster

whats the story? cds that say warning support the payola system?

haha. well it means that by buying those cds, youre funding this system. then its up to you to buy those cds or not. but if loads of people stop funding the majors, then more artists would realise how better it is for them to go independant.

But hoew would I get their songs, me no good at Kazaa and all that, really. Anyways, I'd rather talk sense into people than stop buying cds.

and I'm pretty sure, at least in Denmark, I'll be supporting the artist too, by getting their work at the library, it's certainly like that with books.

that's very interesting, because people ignore that kind of situations.
I sometimes burn my cd's, but you know sometimes you wanna help your fav musicians...
That's a dilemma.
