haha. well it means that by buying those cds, youre funding this system. then its up to you to buy those cds or not. but if loads of people stop funding the majors, then more artists would realise how better it is for them to go independant.

not really. i wouldnt worry about dire straits anyway, they probably have more money that you will ever have.

and I'm pretty sure, at least in Denmark, I'll be supporting the artist too, by getting their work at the library, it's certainly like that with books.

im not sure about that, gigs are a good way to support bands too. but bands like dire straits to really need support at this stage of their career.

I sometimes burn my cd's, but you know sometimes you wanna help your fav musicians...
