Hey guys

Last week I recorded one of these... having seen this post I thought of giving you a dry version of it. I think I put a tiny bit of eq - no comp.

SM57 into very old high end Soundcraft desk.

I did not think this snare is great. it's ok. nice attack, not enough balls. I'm sure JJ himslef does not record with one of these!

I haven't paid the new album any attention, but that surprises me. I thought Joey was a real stickler for real drums. That's what I liked about their self titled and Iowa, really raw and natural sounding productions but still heavy.

I really like the snare on the latest Slipknot album (and +1, probably he doesn't even use his 'signature' snare)
I was also just listening to the snare on Rammstein's Rosenrot album, sounds really nice too imo.

Definately gonna mess around with this samples!
