Rivers Of Gore : massive death metal tabs/Guitar pro files website :
So i just found out about the Rivers Of Gore (named after the famous Skinless (RIP) song i guess ?) website/forum, which seems filled with quality brutal death/death metal tabs and Guitar Pro files, as well as official videos/video covers/video lessons :
http://riversofgore.com/
I ran a quick search on the andy sneap forum to see if somebody mentioned it before, and it popped up only once, i know Ratsapprentice, Catharsisstudios and analgrinder33 know it for sure. I've read somewhere that the guys on those forums may not be very helpful (judging on that thread : http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/andy-sneap/647456-how-fuck-you-supposed-play-3.html) when one is asking for some help, but i'm interested about the quality of the tabs and Guitar Pro files (for rehearsing and using the midi exports to record some covers) mostly.
For those who know the website already, what is your experience with it ?
I'm gonna check out that Severe Torture tab of a song i tried to cover some time ago and see if it's great or not. Just browsing through the forum seems to indicate they know their shit and are a bit elitist, which is great for tablatures/Guitar Pro files
Tabs and Guitar Pro files are located in the forum section.
EDIT : Metaltabs seems a great resource for tabs/Guitar Pro files as well.
http://metaltabs.com
Just took a quick look at the website and they seem to have a good choice of GP files/tabs, and i love their policy (trying to contact bands to get their approval, etc...).
EDIT 2 : Ok just stumbled upon the original thread about the best websites for Guitar Pro files (for some reason i didn't find it during my first search) :
http://www.ultimatemetal.com/forum/off-topic-tavern/697002-best-guitar-pro-archive.html
To sum it up : recommended websites for Guitar Pro files :
Ultimate Guitar : ultimate-guitar.com
911 Tabs : www.911tabs.com
Metal Tabs (metal-oriented) : http://metaltabs.com
Rivers Of Gore (mainly death metal) : riversofgore.com
Tablatures.tk : www.tablatures.tk
