Road-trip albums

I prefer to listen to something upbeat and fast paced. My car stereo has been dominated by Protest the Hero recently. I know, probably too emo for most here, but it's easy to sing along to and really energetic. I have a problem speeding when listening to them though.
Never heard protest the hero but another band i find myself listening to while driving is alexisonfire.Somewhat emo-ish but good. Catchy enough to get my attention.

For me

Judas Priest - Painkiller
Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying?
Iced Earth - Horror Show
Amon Amarth - With Oden On Our Side
Nightrage - A New Disease Is Born

It depends on the weather, time of day, and traffic density. Overall I would say that thrash is the best for driving.

Slayer - Show no Mercy
Sepultura - Beneath the Remains
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
King Diamond - Abigail

When it rains

Mithotyn - In The Sign Of The Ravens
Amorphis - Tales From the Thousand Lakes
King Diamond - The Graveyard

Snow

Abigor - Nachthymnen
Satyricon - Nemesis Divina
Windir - Soknardalr

Death metal is for short distance driving only ( 1 hour)
