Rock mix with raw files

Jarebrandon. Multi-tracks just means more than one track. Stems means bounced down bus instrument. Raw tracks means unprocessed tracks. I think Siriun is trolling. You called them raw-tracks, which is correct.

here is my take on it. Enjoy!

EDIT: Next time you record guitar. make sure that you record in "mono" and make 2 rhythm tracks so you can pan them left and right. makes it sound more full :)

I did record in mono, and I did record two rhythm tracks. I exported them as stereo so i didn't have to export each guitar part twice. You can either pan the stereo track appropriately or you can split the stereo track and pan the 2 mono tracks... either way there is 2 takes of each guitar part here.

other than that. what did you think of the mix?

I wanted my lead guitars to sound digital on this song so I recorded them differently than normal... For them to sound good they need a fair amount of effects. otherwise they sound too fake. That being said... imo you need more effects on the leads.

sounds like you adjusted the cymbal velocity some when it was already setup for realism. they are too loud as well.

I like the snare sample but it needs some tweaking. Try boosting 200-250. the kick is overpowering a bit. it sticks out more than anything else.

UPDATED VERSION! tell me you thoughts.. idk if your going to like the lead.. i put some more effects on there but i guess i don't really know what you are looking for
