No, not Alex - this is Blade Promotions who brought out Edguy in 2004 (regardless of of their website saying it was 2005 ).

Doro's tour was brought out by Metal Warriors and that wasn't fucked up - it went pretty smoothly overall, although the Sydney show needed a bit of saving by us, and that was actually one of the crew from this Rock Out fest that was looking after that particular date.

hopefully this show doesn't end up like that because it seems like a cool idea, juts needs more time and promotion to make sure it really goes off.

Australia's ROCK OUT Festival 'Postponed' - Mar. 11, 2009

Australia's Rock Out festival — which was scheduled to take place next month in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne — has been postponed until the fall.

A statement from the festival organizers reads as follows: "MTD4 and Blade Promotions, after consultation with the venues and major stakeholders, including the international artists, have decided that it is in the best interest of all parties concerned to postpone the event to September/October this year. The new dates will be advised as soon as possible.

"We anticipate announcing additional headline bands to join those previously listed as the postponement allows us to restore the event to our original concept including multiple stages, all ages ticketing and camping at all sites.

"We apologise if this postponement causes any inconvenience to those that have already purchased tickets to our event and encourage them to contact us directly: contact@rockoutfestivals.com.au."

The Rock Out festival was supposed to include performances by the following artists, among others:
