Rocket on a crypt?

I heard a song on XFM today, think it was called 'Hanging on a rope' by a band I think called Rocket on a crypt. Does anyone know this band/song? Have I got the details right? What a great song!

Any information would be welcomed.

The band are called Rocket From The Crypt, and the song would have been called On a Rope which was a top ten single about 2/3 years ago.
They are a good American punk band with a brass section and they dress smart. The album to get is the one with the Scorpion on the cover which right now the name eludes me. On a Rope is on the album.

Quite an old tune from Rocket from the crypt, bit of a Ska/Punk/Metal type fusion, I have the album "Scream Dracula Scream" at home and sadly "on a rope" is clearly the best tune.

Hope this helps, if you want to buy it I have seen it in the sale stock at both HMV and Virgin for somewhere in the region of £6.99.

Finally one of their other albums is titled "Live from Camp X ray" sadly that made me chuckle.......... sick I know.

Cheers lads. That was the first time I have heard that song and I thought it was brill! Whats your opinion on that album Lagoon, any good songs on it apart from on a rope?

It is a good album but I found I got fed up with it quite quickly. It one of those that when you first buy you think, "Yeah fuckin brilliant", but then after a good few listens you think, "well its alright I suppose".
If you can pick it up cheap go for it.

ON A ROPE RULE NEARLY ALL THE OTHER STUFF IS A BIT SAMEY . GOOD LIVE BAND SAW THEM AT GLASTO A FEW YEARS AGO EVERYONE WAS WAITING FOR THAT SONG.
