Rode NT5's Should I buy?

Im looking into buying some Rode NT5's for overheads, what your guys experience of these mics?

pretty damn good.
used them on god knows how many sessions.
Awesome bang for the buck.

yeah, id rather use nt5's and decent cymbals than better mics and worse cymbals.

i've had nt5's sound great in the mix, as have many others.

Nt5 are good also on ride close micing, and acoustic guitars.

Especially on ride and acoustic as Tachy said.
I don't like it on hihat/china too much "woosh" sounding (too much mids going on)

I used them for overheads... then I got some KM184s and now I use them for ride and (you should definitely try this) bottom snare mic. Would buy them again any time

Not totally awesome, but still really good for the price. I doubt you will be disappointed, go for it.

I've used them countless times and they always sounded kinda harsh on Overheads to me. I like the Oktava MK-012's better in that price range

O yes for overheads oktava are better!

I agree with this 100%, used to own a pair and have moved on.

Other better options in that range:
Shure SM81 (used)
Audio Technica 4041
Audio Technica ATM250
