Cool Dude,
Dave has posted all about hotels to stay in... So look for that post...and you can fly into SFO or OAK and take BART (Bay Area Transit) into the city. http://www.bart.gov Lots of cabs and public trans once in SF. It's seriously a piece of cake....

Awesome...I think I'm actually going to stay at this hotel...Cathedral something... Cathedral Hill? It's on Van Ness and something...not too too far from the venue, but a nice hike it looks like. I might bring my roommate, who wants to go to SF but doesn't know any of the bands...

You're a couple blocks away from where Jax and I are staying, and The Michael is staying too. The Miyako Hotel on Post.... We'll have to get together for some grub and/or a couple of beers...
 
I am gonna be there...Working my ass off again for all the bands both days...I
had such a blast at the AVALON show it was truly a COOL DEAL...Hope to
have a chance to meet new people and Party(a little) with the old friends
whom I miss very much...

I was actually thinking about the San Jose Area... When you move here. I can give you info on the neghborhoods etc...

As for your walk to the venue, I think you have a classic SF hill to climb over but it's not bad at all... There are far worse hills in SF... Every time I'm in SF I think to myself how the hell did they build a city on this terrain! LOL
You're not far from the Cable car turn around at Powell and Market... For a classic SF tourist thang to do, it'll take you all the way the wharf... But since you'll be living here, you've got all the time to check things out...

I'll be there (and my friend Todd). Looking forward to almost all of the bands (GREAT lineup, David!), but especially the chance to *FINALLY* see ENCHANT and too see Odin's Court, too. Looking forward to seeing Zero Hour kick ass again, as well as the Beard, Jon Oliva, Crimson Glory, Balance of Power, etc...AWESOME lineup!

I get in Friday afternoon, and should have just enough time for dinner before the show. :-) Anyone who knows me, feel free to hit me up at:

to catch up for dinner, lunch, etc. We're staying at the Hayes Valley Inn, wherever that is (Todd made the reservation, so I'm trusting that it's not halfway across SF!!).

I'm driving in from Sacramento on both days.

I'm working on the 4th, so I won't have any time for any pre-show hangout, but I should have an opportunity on Saturday afternoon before Day Two Performances.

Keith?......Is that you? It's me, Rocklin Rob (Met you at the Enchant, ZERO HOUR show in Santa Clara :rock: ). Is that you on drums in your avatar? I got your phone message the other day and planned on calling you back but was waiting to talk to my friend Josh to see if he wanted to get a hotel or whatever. I will be hanging out with him later today so I should know tommorrow if we should set up some carpooling plans or if we are gonna be staying in the Bay. Either way I will definitely be keeping in touch. By the way.....how awesome was Zero Hour back on March 24th.....:kickass: :kickass:
