Roster Change!!

That's too bad for Wastefall and their fans. I wasn't personally into their music much, so for me the festival roster just got a boost with the announcement of Zero Hour. It's funny, but I was just listening to Towers of Avarice in the car just prior to coming into the house and receiving this news.

While I feel for the band and all ProgPower-related staff for this nightmare, the departure of Nevermore and Wastefall and their replacements have made this festival worth its money, at least to me. Perhaps Zero Hour, being a home-grown band, might be able to sell the rest of the tickets.

DAMNIT, i know they wanted to be here so bad and it's a big disappointment, but as they say "shit happens" But as to the replacement WHOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AWESOME GLENN!!!!!!!!!! I have always wanted to see ZERO HOUR. Thanks for the addition.

Wow, this is becoming the "scab" year of Progpower...first Nevermore as whole drops, then Mercenary, Savage Circus & Evergrey all drop a member. Did I miss anyone? What is going on?? :erk:

Regardless, I'm still stoked for this year's show!!

...and now add Wastefall...Bummer! I was really looking forward to seeing them. Hell, they were even on our sponsor wish list! But, I stand by my enthusiasm for this year's roster. Zero Hour should fill in nicely.

:Smokin:

...and I guess this makes the question of announcing next year's roster at the show that much easier to answer...

Damn, I'm very sad that this happened :waah: Wastefall was one of the bands I was looking forward to the most, hopefully they will be able to come next time.

I haven't even heard Zero Hour, so I am very sad, but will check them out and see what they are like.

OK... so when I saw the thread I started saying to myself, "Please don't let it be Pyramaze, please don't let it be Pyramaze, please don't let it be Pyramaze, please don't let it be Pyramaze."

I yelled so loud when I saw Zero Hour was replacing Wastefall, that I scared the crap out of my wife. This rules.

Sorry to hear about this for Glen and the fans of Wastefall , but for me personaly, this festival just got better. I love Zero Hour and chris is going to add so much to that band. Bitter sweet for some, all sweet for me.

Thanks Glenn. and Thanks to the boys from Zero Hour, and thanks for the boys from Wastefall too. You all really work(ed) your tails off.

Especially you Glenn. This is one fuckass year for you, my heart goes out to you in this nightmare landscape of concert fun. It'll all be worth it when it undoubtedly gets pulled off without a hitch that night the lights go down...

but you may want some extra staff on hand just in case. ;)
