I can't really point out why I like them, but man their songs are catchy!

Yeah, A Dead Poem was really cool (only album I've been able to find). I can't really say why either, I just found myself listening to it alot. Some good guitar parts, and I like the laid-back-but-still-growling vocals. Plus, it's a cool name

They are a good band but I just don't like their last album "Khronos".

They've got this classy, gothic sound.

Great band, I still have to buy their latest work!
Probably this weekend when they play with Tristania in Belgium!

For me rotting christ is (used to be,actually) a great band,yet their last two albums have let me down completely....
"Sleep of the angels" is the ultimate boredom/crap for me.....hehe tooooooo boring and totally unisinspired ...
"khronos" is somehow hmmm better but still not so convincing.... not my cup of tea....


what a pity.....I used to like this band sooooooooo much.....



anyway i can still enjoy their early recordings,even A dead Poem (great album....)

"Sleep of the Angels" boring? I think it's a beautiful album, with many great melodies. I think "Khronos" is good too, but I think "Sleep..." is definitely one of the better metal albums of that year. I guess its all in the ear of the beholder...

Sure.......everything it's a matter of taste.......
For me "Sleep....." was the disappointment of that year......hehe
The Cd is sleeping in my CD-case for the last 2 years..... a pity....

I saw Rotting Christ yesterday and after My Dying Bride the best gig I´ve seen this year...so far!
