Yeah i was there...
Anata, Rotting Christ and Decapitated were awesome, i thought Thus Defiled were dull, generic and just plain shite. I was hoping Decapitated would play some earlier songs like Nine Steps, Ereshkigal, Blessed, Mandatory Suicide, The Eye of Horus etc... Still though, great set.
(from what i remember) They played (not in order)...
-Three-Dimensional Defect
-Nihility
-Perfect Dehumanization
-Eternity Too Short (i think, might have been Mother War)
-The Negation
-Lying and Weak
-Spheres of Madness
I was dissapointed by the short set played by Decapitated but thats because of the dumbass curfew they enforce at the Camden Underworld. What fucked me off even more was the fact that they opened the gig over a fucking hour late, id been outside since 4:30pm (i like to be at the front, shush), thinking it was opening at 6pm (according to the ticket website and printed on my ticket), instead it opens at gone 7pm. So because of that Decapitated's set was cut short and i was conned out of money, ive been advised to consider getting a refund. Seems to be a recurring problem i get with the Underworld.
Met Sauron outside before the gig though, he signed a load of peoples' tickets, signed mine! lol In true lame ass groupie fashion, i can add that to Vitek's signature i got at that special album preview gig before the x-mass fest 2003.
I didnt think i was going to enjoy Rotting Christ because i have their latest effort "genesis" and although i havent listened to it in yonks, i dont recall liking it that much but they impressed me live so i may just have to reconsider. Anata were as tight as a nun which i was told to expect so they lived up to my expectations!
