is there a way to take recorded audio, process it and then play it back and record it on a new track?

I know i can do it by plugging the out of my interface and put that to the input, but is there a way to do that through the daw?

I tried this in cubase le and it didnt work. I didnt get an option to set the output of the one bus as an input to another. I also searched the manual for print and it didnt have what i was looking for. is there another name this is called i could search the manual for?

Maybe it isnt available in Cubase LE, would suck though.

1. Press F4, create a bus ( stereo or mono depending what your track is). Name it ''print'' or whatever.
2. Select this bus as the output in the track you want to print.
3. Select this bus as the input in the track you want to record the audio.
4. Press record. Done.
