Royal Jester - extremely awesome happy sugar metal!

Gotta love it! This band reminds me of the completely underrated and awesome Timeless Miracle who disappeared into thin air. I have never heard of Royal Jester but they sound super melodic and catchy. the wooahhhs in Wings of Tomorrow are too much joy as is the sacharinated, ambrosia filled chorus! To hear is to love!

Just busting your balls... Every now and then, I want some happy power metal. But it usually doesn't last more than 6, 7 songs...

That's very true. Happy power metal fans are usually pretty hardcore.

First happy metal album? Hmmmm.... Something by Helloween perhaps?

wow! this is the type of power metal I love. I am a HUGE fan of Timeless Miracle too who these guys kind of sound like. I saw this for sale on the End Records mailorder and passed over it due to the horrible band name...going to order it now.

Guess it depends on if you count all that 80s hair metal as real metal. I also have to think that rock bands like Survivor and Stan Bush influenced power metal a great deal. I don't know a power metal fan alive who doesn't love Eye of the Tiger.

You're right there adaher. Survivor rules badly! Also love the track Burning Heart almost even more than Eye of the Tiger.

Been following this band a long time. I actually have demos with the original singer. I forget his name off the top of my head but he is now doing the band REINXEED. Few songs like Jesterday never made it to the final album.

Oh is that so? I like ReinXeed a lot too. Their new album has samples up on their myspace and it sounds great. Anyone who is tired of the new Stratovarius and completely different new Sonata Arctica style should listen to ReinXeed.

So Timeless Miracle is done? According to Metal Archives they are still active, but their website hasn't been updated in a really long time. Last update on Myspace is from 2007.

Timeless Miracle isn't done, they just aren't getting much accomplished lately, or at least aren't updating us much.

Lots of bands go through periods where nothing much is happening. We had to wait 10 years for a new Ivory Tower album. I'd expect Timeless Miracle will get off the ground again eventually.
