Can someone point me to quality (metal) messageboards that'd be worth checking out please? I only know the Musica one.

Well, I don't read russian - maybe I should learn, huh? However: I use this translation software by a company called Promt and it's quite excellent, actually. I can get very good hold of most conversations, unless people use tremendous amount of slang - the translation comes out as made by a drunken Yoda, but it's ok once you get used to it... (www.translate.ru for an online version)
The rest I try to figure out, word by word. No very practical, I know - I guess the proper way would be to learn the language, but I just haven't managed to get to that yet... sorry.
