I'm surprised Sabaton isn't headlining.
What I'm surprised is that it's not Accept headlining, with Overkill and Sabaton opening...Is Overkill a better draw than Accept in the States? Cause I'm sure in my place Accept would draw more people.

Yeah. The name "Accept" doesn't mean much in the States. They were playing some real dumps when they were touring the U.S. earlier this year. Overkill, on the other hand, has a pretty strong following, especially in the New York area. Anywhere else and I'd worry about Sabaton outdrawing the other two and the venue being a third full by the time Overkill goes on, but that won't happen in NYC.
they still are really unknown in the US.
What do you base this on?
Are you for real? Overkill tends to headline at least once a year. They are pretty popular. If this is a full tour certainly Sabaton will get a lot of new fans, but they won't outdraw the other bands.
I know Overkill is popular, but I perceive a real cult thing going on with Sabaton...I might be wrong, though. The novelty of seeing a rising band that's only done a handful of shows in the U.S. can be pretty powerful.
if this is actually a tour....this is the perfect one for Sabaton. Thrash fans may like them for thier high power music. If they play their cards right and out on a sold show each night....they could end up being the highlight of the tour. Kind of like Eluviete on the first pagan fest tour.

Sabaton would draw about the same amount of people that Primal Fear and Redemption did when they played at UB's. Most people outside this forum who I have talked to are not familiar with them at all.
