You may despise Led Zepplin. Led ZeppElin, on the other hand, rule :p. Led Zep III and IV are two of the best albums ever made.

Most of their stuff takes a bit of getting into (at least five years in my case). Just give it time :).

It might also help if you play it late at night just after you've had your heart ripped out by some woman or other, but I ain't goin' there again...

"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" ROCKS! :) I love IV (who doesn't?) and I like most of their big, big songs ("Whole Lotta Love", etc) but when they do stuff like "Dazed and Confused" then they become just a whole lotta rubbish :)

Dazed and Confused rules, provided it's the studio track and not the half-hour live version that drags on forever.

The debut album is a classic of the first order. Most of II I could take or leave, unless we're talking about Whole Lotta Love, Heartbreaker or The Lemon Song.

, so I don't care for them enough to spell it correctly...

What constitutes one of the best albums ever made? Some of your favs perhaps, but I surely don't think so, Sabbath are much better. :p :)

On the Past Lives cd there are 3 stand out tracks
1. Hole in the Sky
2. Symptom of the Universe
3. Megalomania

Ozzy's singing an'nt the best fluffs a line of two (actully repeats the line " seen the western world go down in the east" on Hole in the Sky . But shit Sabbath were are tight on those tracks -
The Sabotage Tour they were kicking arse .

Its by far the best "live" recording of sabbath i've heard when they were in their prime.
