Saddam Hussein is fucking dead.

If we were smart ......We would have gave him his commander's uniform back and set his ass straight back to
Iraq to sort all the shit out......He was the only motherfucker over there that was keeping everybody from killing each other......There was some what of a balance over there.....Then we took him away and now all hell is breaking loose......I in no way support Saddam...i could careless if everyone over there died tomorrow it would make no never mind to me......

Except for your last statement, that's totally fuckin' right, man. 600,000 Iraqis have died since the beginning of this madness. That's super-fucked, and surely someone will make sure that we pay for this sooner or later.

I think that this is the most dispicable thing that we (U.S.) have ever done outside of our own borders. About a year and a half ago I started thinking about this in a different light. Beside the fact that this "trial" was a total sham, think about this - Saddam Hussein just got his neck snapped for killing people THAT TRIED TO KILL HIM. What do you think the punishment would be in any country run by a ruthless, strongarm dictator if you try to fucking assassinate him??? Gimme a break. Don't even bring up the gassing the Kurds thing, because it's the same thing... Dictator says "No insurgency in my country!", and the insurgents don't listen. Guess what happens next? I'm not justifying any of this, but it's extremely arrogant for a nation of 300 years to go tell a nation that happens to be the oldest civilization on Earth how to do things.

I am a Persian Gulf vet (pt.1 circa 1991), and obviously this dude and his regime have committed treacherous acts....BUT..

Shaking Hands with Saddam Hussein

What this whole thing really reminds me of is mafia shit. And GWB is fuckin' Scarface himself.

Oh BTW since saddam was hanged I don't think he was killed by the United States. I actually don't think he was tried here either, he was hung way to soon after his trial for me to think that the United States had anything to do with anything but his capture.

His dog!? lol I laughed at that.

I really hate to see Saddam go. I was hoping for a life sentence, him in pink underwear and a 24/7 (infrared) webcam in his cell...

Btw, don't mind to watch Bush that way either. Don't mind to watch the whole world that way, but that's probably just me.

yea shit is so fucked up now days! People are led to believe certain things through the media but there is a lot more going on behind the scenes then you or me will ever know!!

apparently sadam used to prefer the fredmann micing technique and ocassionally used my C4 setting with an api pre. 1 x 57, by the way.

Sickening. Did he not take to heart the words of the Prophet Muhammad, Praised Be His Name, when he said that the wrath of Allah would be upon all of those who used such heathen devices? My heart rejoices to see that justice has been served for such abominations.

...oh, yeah, there was that whole killing thing too, but that pales in comparison to blasphemy, hubris, and disregard for the holy law.

While politics don't belong on this forum, I could not agree with you more.

The best thing we could have done is just put him back in charge....I'll admit I was one of the many Americans who were duped into thinking that this guy was the pinnacle of evil. No he was not a great guy, but the real culprits here were some of the other fellow countries in that region who kept his country in debt after millions of Iraqis died in order to keep Iran at bay. Kuwait has been considered the "victim" in this mess, when really their greed was the instigator. Go read about it for yourself, I just discovered all this recently and it blows my fucking mind.

This is an atrocity and I really hope our new democratic congress will serve justice on those in our government who have abused their privileges.

i think hanging him gave him an easy way out..i think a lifetime in solitary confinment would of been worse..

and they killed his dog too?
wtf is wrong with people these days..

and andy....wtf... how do u get such a good tone with just one 57..its not fair!!!

hanging some guy is not the solution.

There must be a real objective process and then a judge of the court of den haag.

I think this would be right.

And dont forget what saddam did!!!

But these things doesnt make the USA better.

torturing people in prison, making war without UN resolution, making war based on manipulated data... Blend the own people through controlling the media...and cutting civil rights...

isnt that what the USA were fighting against???

Ps.: all the US guys dont be pissed by my comment. Though my band I know a couple people from the US and they were all very nice.

But your government is a shame

anyone see the movie V for Vendetta? or read the book 1984? i could see this government heading towards something like that, not as drastic of course but the way the goverment controls the media and such..

but anyway if we had some dude running around with a mask on like in V for Vendetta, trying to start a revolution that would be pretty bad ass..

I heard Saddam was a MAC user too after reading all the pro-mac themed James Murphy threads on this forum.
