Yeah um saddam was NOT KILLED NOR WAS HE TRIED BY THE UNITED STATES! He was tried in Iraq guys. I know it's nice to be able to blame America for everything but common you can google that information.
No, silly, we do everything good in the world, we're the world's police and we're fighting a war on terrorism and drugs and poverty and hunger and...
*head explodes from sarcasm overuse*
Jeff

This is gonna make a fucking great South Park episode.![]()
Just curious why you guys would have rather he rot in jail or be returned to power? Don't get me wrong I don't support the death penalty (shocking I know) even for Sadam but I was just curious.

One of the problems with America is they expect you to fit into one of the two major political parties, and if you're outside that, you're a freak. For example, I support both abortion and the death penalty, to me they're kind of related - keep the population down, get rid of unnecessary resource drains (AKA humans.) Because of my views, there's no place for me in the American political spectrum, I am a nomad.
As for Saddam, I support whatever the Iraqi court wanted to do with him - even though I do think hangings are somewhat barbaric. Let his people decide - he was given due process. Which is exactly how I feel about GW Bush...

What's that political party that "Mancow" always votes with (Liberatarian) or some shit? Maybe that's the ticket.
The best thing we could have done is just put him back in charge....
The only reason Iraq was a stable country while Saddam was in power, was because he ruled with an iron fist and anyone who opposed him was killed for it.
Do you mean, to just put the country back to the exact same way it was originally, and put the millions of newly freed Iraqis back in the same situation?
I cannot think of a single scenario in which putting Saddam back in power would have been for the good of the Iraqi people as a whole.
Ugh no. I even like Liberal Dem's more than them.....
