I actually think that is nice to discuss other topics. We are people who are interested in audio engineering, but we can think about politics etc.
I think that it's really a bad decision to kill Saddam, specialy by hanging. It will probably make the situation in Iraq much harder, but of course there is a court and it decides.

There seem to be more (Iraqi) people that hated Saddam than those who were followers. That said, those fanatics are probably cooking something up that will see many, many people dead. As Sam Jackson said in Jurassic Park - "hode on to yo butts."

I had mixed emotions about the hanging of Saddam.
Right or wrong remains to be seen .....but to kill his pet shortly afterwards was just plain wrong.

They really hate dogs and cats over there, they treat them like shit, and think they are dirty disgusting creatures. You should see how they treat them. I think that's why all the animals flocked to our base when we were there, the dogs loved us, we always feed them our crap rations that we would never eat

If we were smart ......We would have gave him his commander's uniform back and set his ass straight back to
