sansamp psa1

is this like the popular bass rackmount unit of choice? they have a few rack units for bass i wanted to make sure i'm looking at the right one. the psa1 says for guitar as well, my goal isn't for guitar or for anything of the sort but just to get a good bass distortion to blend in...

i have the bass driver pedal but i was never able to get a sound i liked. is the rackmount unit much different than the bass driver pedal?

anyone with experience please chime in.

i have them both and personally i prefer the bass driver sound than the psa1

except for the mid control on the rbi rack what is the tonal difference between it and the pedal?

With the pedal it almost equates the mid setting by your other settings. thats why there is no mid knob. on the rack you set the mid however you see fit.... both sound really good but
