Satyricon's vocals?

I love the way satyr's voice sounds on the past few albums. There is some effects or distortion type stuff on his voice. It sounds raspy but it's not all just his real voice that's giving it the raspy sound. Anyone know how to semi-clone the effect or whatever gives him the sound he has on the albums?

ha ha, I love Satyr's voice in the Nemesis divina, but I can't tell you wath type of effect satyr use.

It's all him! I've seen them live a couple of times and talked to them. His voice has just adapted naturally to compliment the music seamlessly. listen to the earlier recordings and you can hear a definite improvement!
