Saxon is searching for the musician who contributes the best solo for the current Saxon single “Live To Rock” (from the new album, Into The Labyrinth, out in January 2009).
What do you have to do? That’s simple enough: by clicking the link, you will be able to hear “Live To Rock”, and all you have to do is play your own solo to fill in the part where the song is faded out. Record your contribution by webcam or video camera and submit it to the Riff King channel. All entries will be judged by a panel.
If you win, you will get to play live with Saxon in Brazil, Japan or Germany, whichever you prefer. All expenses paid, and you’ll be treated like a full Saxon member on this unique day, appearing on stage with your heroes that night! Along with the main prize, there will be other excellent prizes, among them an exclusive Saxon Dean Flying V guitar.
