Fairly... interesting. Despite being a fairly big fan of 8-bit remix shit (I'm a total hipster, yo) I'm not sure if I like it or not.

Hot Tuna - Funky #7

isis was really fucking good on the panopticon tour when they played all panopticon and oceanic songs and like one off celestial and one new one. their other albums are zzzzz, prolly wouldnt see em again :(

LOVE Negură Bunget. What's that one from?

Not listening to anything right now, but I will MIGHTILY recommend the new record from Sleepy Sun, Fever, with artwork by the great David D'Andrea.

Here's something from their last record.

Maiestrit, the rerecording/interpretation of Maiastru Sfetnic. The only rerecording I've ever heard that didn't suck.

I found Maiestrit ..banal. Nothing compares to the rawness of Maiastru Sfetnic(which means something like chief adviser lol). They sing about trees anyway.
Edit: cool stuff Brooks. To continue on a slightly similar note:

I loved that movie. It's cheap, it's cheesy, it's cult. Reminds me of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Re-edit: Ogre from Skinny Puppy is playing a part in it should anyone care.

not a fan, i like the voice but I dont enjoy the music, or the lyrics.

Infected Mushroom kick ass, I'd love to see them if DJ's didn't charge such ridiculous prices to play prerecorded music to a huge room like greedy bastards.

np: Megadeth - Crush 'Em

yeah I already know people are going to say it sucks but sometimes I'm in the mood for just some groovy cheesy dave mustaine attempt at arena rock, I'm sure my neighbors are not a fan of my speakers bumping it at 12:30 am though

It takes a while to get going, and'll probably take a few listens to take all in. But I'm loving what I'm hearing so far.

Between then and Lento, looks like the Italian Supernatural Cat psych sludge scene might be my current favorite in metal right now.

just listened to the new Bison BC twice. while it's better than the first, there is still nothing distinguishing the band from the herd (see what I did there)

they are still a mishmash of better bands, though there's no denying they are good at it.
