say something about what the forumer above you is listening to

True as it gets these days!

NP: Zeus B. Held - Sound Trigger

"German producer Zeus B. Held has had a very prolific career, but he is best known for his work with John Foxx of Ultravox, Dead Or Alive, Men Without Hats, remixing Gary Numan, and this 1979 electronic vocoder classic Europium. Europium is a pretty experimental record, with traces of Kraftwerk, the Clockwork Orange soundtrack and Can."

This is the kinda shit I've been into these days. Minimal 70's krautrock psychedelic stuff; a huge scene from way back in the day that was all but lost in the sands. Goblin (Will loves Goblin, but may not even know it), Can, Faust, Guru Guru, Harmonia, Gila, even early Kraftwork. It's mesmerizing, creative, sparse, and awesome.

Chk it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goblin_(band)

"Goblin are an Italian progressive rock band known for their soundtracks for Dario Argento films (including Deep Red of 1975, also known as Profondo Rosso, and Suspiria of 1977)."

They were also an amazing band in their own right, and their soundtracks for the Argento films are top notch. I was just listening to the Dawn of the Dead soundtrack last night, while Max was jerking off in IRC last night.
