a few friends of mine are pretty into Blackmath Horseman...I've only heard a few clips here and there from their cars. The old band I was in with one of my friends, there was a chance we were going to open up for them but our band split. I'll have to hear that clip of yours.

Totally caught me off guard, I love it. It's as close to metal as Neil Young can get.

@ Dark Gift yeah, they don't play typical black metal. It's almost hard to categorize them but they're pretty creative. progressive black metal is pretty accurate...alot of melody, atmosphere, psychedelic and 70s prog stuff but also black metal. Alot of variety yet it all makes sense. Check out the "Ruun" album - muh favorite.

@ brooks...I'll check out that Neil Young album. I always loved it when he rocked it up like with Crazy Horse. Year of the Horse live album destroys.

I can tolerate the albums, but I've seen Beneath the Massacre live a few times and they CANNOT pull it off. Still listenable, for a "deathcore" type band.
