say something about ... yourself!

They're like freakin canine tanks!

Damn, I feel sorry for that dog. :( Hope he recovers soon.

I like Mastiffs too. They are pretty cool looking.

My favourite dog is the Alsatian, though. I love how they look and move, they are like neo-wolves.

I have question (if you are going to make fun of me, just move on with the thread):

How can you tell if a girl is really interested in being with you, and not leading you on by her flirty actions?

I REALLY don't want to screw this up. This girl seems way out of my league, but I need to do something!

Edit: Should I call her tomorrow? I told my buddy I was going to be at his show. Also, her birthday is Sunday. Is it to early to get involved with birthdays?

Jesus... I am a wreck

Two old, epic sayings come to mind:

"Bros before hos"

and

"All's fair in love and war"

So really, it's up to you to decide if blowing off your buddy is worth it. From my standpoint, when I played music and someone told me they would come to my show, I never fully believed them until I actually saw them there. I know I sometimes tell people when they ask that I'll come see their band but things sometimes come up in between and I have to blow them off. I expect the same happens to others as well. No big deal, unless I swore up and down that I was going to come, I wouldn't feel guilty about not going.

How long ago did you meet her? If it was like the last week or so, I wouldn't get into the birthday shit right away. Maybe tell her Happy Birthday and possibly a card. Or you could offer to take her out for dinner maybe.

As for what her signs could mean... fuckin' good luck with figuring that one out

I am very loyal to my friends. So I am definitely going to my friend's show!

The thing is, I don't HAVE to call her this weekend, but I should at least call before the next time I see her. And yeah, we have one class together at my uni and we have chatted in the morning on our way, but today she gave me her number, asked for mine, all touchy feely with the arms, saying we should go see a movie, and telling me about her b-day. Soooo... I'm thinking about calling her and saying happy birthday and maybe next week we can do something (like a movie).

I am not lying when I say she is a gorgeous petite girl. The reason why this is all weird is because I am nothing like her. She is the girly mall type, the kind that goes for clean cut guys with their trendy shirts and designer pants  She must be leading me on.

Ok, I have said enough. This is unlike me to post this much...

I would definitely call her and offer to take her to a movie for her birthday.

And in my experience, the girls that typically flirt with me are the same way... not the same as the one you described but same in the sense that they're definitely not the type of girls I would ever expect to hit on me. I'm in the middle of the process of trying to stop wondering "why?!" and just acknowledging and enjoying it.

Good luck mang.

She has plans for her birthday, so that probably won't happen. Plus, all this stuff happened today, so too soon I think.

I swear I must be screwed up in the head because I am more comfortable with average looking ladies. A hot girl makes me turn into an intimidated lunatic.

Thanks for the help, Kevin! Means much to me.

Today has been all kinds of strange fun. Had sushi at a rotating sushi bar for the first time. Dave and I went to the comic book store to putz around for a while. On the way back to his dorm my car ran out of gas and stalled in the middle of the street. He pushed it into the gym parking lot then walked to his car, got gas, and came back to my car. But the gas can only held a gallon of gas so was pretty useless. We waited for his roommate and friends to come help, but they showed up with jumper cables instead of gas. So I called AAA and they arrived quickly and saved my poor little car.

So now I'm over Dave's getting ready to go to a 90's themed party. I'm going as Freakazoid but with out the fun hair, blue face, and jumpsuit. Dave and his roomies are going as 98 Degrees. I spent the past 15 minutes drawing tattoos on them with a sharpie.

And the days not even over yet. :)
