Went to see the pup. He's doing great. He looks a little scabby and still a little skinny, but otherwise he looks great. He's very alert and bright-eyed, and so sweet. You'd think that after what he's been through that he'd be at least a little standoff-ish with people, but that's not the case. He loved the attention and didn't want to go back to his kennel when we left. Awww.

We found him in our yard a few weeks ago, near death. Turns out he had been a bait dog used for dog fighting. Very sad, but he's going to have a great life now!
